I began my interest in lighting in High School taking Drama and TV courses. My instructor really pushed me into the technical side of those arts. At 16 years old I began throwing large events under a dba. This led me to get deeper into theatrical lighting and mood lighting. In the following years I began consulting with restaurant and bar owners designing small entertainment lighting systems and area mood lighting.

To take the next step in a professional evolution, I began working as an AV Technician at the Ritz Carlton - Naples, top 5-star resort in the north continent at that time. This increased my practical knowledge of lighting, video and audio and led me to my next step, installations.

I jumped ship to an AVL installer in Naples, Designer Audio. They were a low voltage contractor handling design and installations of high end audio, video and lighting systems, as well as home automation control systems. This really motivated me in the design for permanent install direction, though without committing to five or more years of tenure, the training was not going to be available to take the next steps.

I went back to school in Orlando, FL at Full Sail for Show Production. I was a guinea pig in brand neu course exploring lighting and audio design, installation and production of full scale shows and permanent venues. This broadening of my knowledge and a few key relationships made during my tenure led me to High End Systems in Austin TX.

HES is a leading manufacturer and innovator in the automated lighting and control field. My time there working with engineering, support, repair and software development finally gave me a comprehensive understanding of the physics of light and color, and the mechanics and fundamentals behind it.

Following HES, I began the DBA Neu Visions Design in San Diego, CA where we were  mostly working in the production and touring field. I tired of designing, orchestrating and programming systems that were in use for a few days to a week and then disassembled. All focus turned to permanent installations, where our works of art would be able to be seen and referenced for years to come and operations moved to Lake Tahoe were a bulk of our work was. We worked on Caesars Tahoe, Harrahs and Harvey’s at that time and were involved in projects like the Night Clubs, Show Rooms, Sports Book’s and Cabaret.

I took Neu Visions Design through a back door to Vegas and have now found home. Here in Las Vegas we work in the casino’s designing Nightclubs, Themed Restaurants, Retail Spaces, Exterior Lighting, Sports Books, Sports Bars and Performance spaces . We offer design and consultation for Theatrical Lighting, Architectural Lighting, Video Display and Distribution, Master Control Systems and Audio Solutions, encompassing all into an integrated design. We also work with other design firms on large projects for collaboration and for the greater good of the project. We work mostly in Casino environments and are always here to help out the local community. Our team is rapidly becoming one of the most innovative technology design teams in Las Vegas.

Dale has been listed with the FTC and has been licensed by the Oregon Liquor Control Commission and the Oregon Gaming Control Board. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree (BBA) with an emphasis in entrepreneurship and enterprising.
